To pass a Quiz, you must answer all the questions correctly and these questions are based on the key learning outcomes. If you don't achieve 100% the first time, you will be shown the questions you failed to answer correctly. You must retake the Quiz until you answer all questions correctly. This is to ensure you have a clear understanding of the key learning outcomes. But there is no limit to the number of times you can take the Quiz. When you retake the Quiz, you must answer all the questions again (the entire Quiz), not just the questions you answered incorrectly. You will also note that the questions will now be in a different order. Please understand this not punishment, but a measure to improve the validity of the test results. When it comes to multiple choice questions, there is always the possibility of choosing the right answer as a matter of luck. By repeating the entire quiz and answering the questions in a different order, we reduce this likelihood.
While the law requires all food handlers to be trained in food safety, there is no accredited course. However, the law does specify what that training must include. Our Food Handler (PLUS) Training Courses not only comply with this requirement, but they also include specific measures to optimise knowledge retention and recall.
The 2025 CHILDCARE Food Handler (PLUS) replaces the 2024 Course. It features a revised curriculum, and the content has also been improved. In designing this his new and improved Course we also took into account the feedback from students.
The Standard 3.2.2A legislation does not specify how often food handlers must be trained. It leaves this up to the owner and this decision should be made according to the risk profile of the business. Some of our clients have their staff trained every year while others have decided to do so every 2 to 3 years. If in doubt, we recommend using our Standard 3.2.2A Knowledge test along with an on-the-job assessment.
