Take the Necessary Steps to Protect the Health & Wellbeing of the Children in Your Care
The National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) plays a pivotal role in guiding infection control practices across Australian childcare centres. Established in 1926 and evolving into an independent statutory agency in 2006, the NHMRC remains dedicated to promoting public health, with a strong focus on children's health and development.
The comprehensive curriculum includes the latest NHMRC guidelines (6th Edition) with special attention to critical infection control measures, including:
Each Chapter takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete and comes with a FACT SHEET for students to download and keep and a Quiz. These aid retention of the key learning outcomes.
Plus, students have access to comprehensive Fact Sheets on more than 50 common childhood infections, diseases and conditions with a clear description of symptoms and instructions on how to respond.
Successful completion of this Course is rewarded with an Official Certificate of Completion.
